NEW*NEW*NEW TIBETAN RED 'Fouta Djalon'
'Música Mitopoètica Discreta'
cd. ref. GMGTSMMSAND014
The new Tibetan Red CD Fouta
Djalon presents a mesmerizing journey into the landscapes of Ethnic
Music, electronics and exploratory sounds. From the first opening
track we are thrown into a swirling massive movement of Ethnic
chants and sounds that speak of rituals, celebrations and healing
ceremonies that lead the way towards the communality of
trance.

'Ton plaisir sera le mien
El teu plaer serà el meu
Tu placer será el mío' cd.ref. BDLN2006
The collectives of Gràcia Territori Sonor (Barcelona) and
Studio Forum (Annecy) agreed in the year 2003 to co-produce a disk
in which three musicians linked to each collective would create
compositions inspired by the silent and gradual worldwide coup
d'état that has brought us to a "new" universal "order" in which,
regrettably, the first victims have been the freedoms of the
individual and of nations. Music never provides solutions nor can
it function descriptively. These six pieces touch on the subject,
they satirise or comment on a material and spiritual tragedy, but
it is this brief introduction that - hopefully - might cause us to
reflect. The music can be allowed to speak for itself.

MARC EGEA -
'Karagöz & Hacivat' cd.ref. gmgtsblock011
Marc Egea extracts from the hurdy gurdy brilliant
compositions which gather wonderfully the two "personalities" of
this peculiar instrument, gifted with a vibrant spirituality and a
worldly character at the same time. Karagöz & Hacivat is the
new solo album of this modern "goliard", now fully into the
electrification of the instrument and the quest for a style
entirely of his own. An interesting sum of findings exposed by
means of a sound we feel as close as it is a singular instrument
producing it.

CARTER TUTTI - 'Live
concert@LEM Festival October 4, 2003'
cd.ref. GMGTSMMGLASS003
The music of Chris Carter and Cosey Fani Tutti is capable
of creating a vortex in our plane of existence throughout which an
auditory universe where there are no rules is filtered. As members
of Throbbing Gristle, the group that conceptualized the industrial
music; or by colouring the dance floors with dispelling under the
alias of Chris & Cosey, or by redefining the "ambient" as CTI,
the ability of this duet to subvert the electronica and, in the
meantime, crash any preconceived idea has always been its
trademark. They are still doing this, and their first album as
Carter Tutti, which captures the concert performed in 2003 LEM
Festival, is a good sample of a truly unusual way of reinterpreting
the avant-garde under uncanny parameters.. ( text: Jesús Brotons)

TIBETAN RED - 'Tibetan Red'
cd.ref. k-100022
That is what many of us have been waiting for years at last on one
CD. 3 long tracks including the complete FREEDOM IN A VACUUM tape
released in Canada in the mid-eighties. Shamanic voices and
instruments recorded in selected ambients and electronically
treated to reach depths of intensity you never heard before. Very
serious ritual electronic music, this record is a must.

RAPOON - 'A Day Of Visual Geographics'
cd.ref. k-100033
What can we say about RAPOON, except that every release includes a
world of its own...This is the complete and unretouched concert
that Robin Storey a.k.a. RAPOON performed for the LEM Festival june
1999 in Barcelona, covering pieces from his more than 15 CD
releases, after leaving the Zoviet France project. Experimental but
also intimate sounds from the earth and the ether, this is no
trivial electronica but a magical trip through mental stereoscopic
labyrinths.

PABLO RECHE - 'Gira'
cd.ref. k-100043
This young argentinian artist has presented this first album at the
Sonar festival 2000: an exploration of electronic fields that shift
between different planes and explode freely amid seas of silence.
An introspective but healthy work, full of dynamics and intensities
in constant variation, that collects his last two years recordings.
The music of PABLO RECHE manages to move heart and soul without the
need of exploiting the old "noise" tricks. An astonishing opera
prima.

1 = 0 - '1 = 0'
cd.ref. SATKCD - 016
Excellent debut of this musician from Barcelona, this record is the
result of winning the first prize in the Freestyle Festival 2000
and a good sample of how the new generations of creators have
managed to synthetize the seminal musics of the last century and
create the music of the present. For all those that believe that
the historic minimalism and the actual are extremes of the same
journey and for those that can understand that the melody still
exists as well as the suggestive rhytms. An inner trip.

ANA BUSTO/SANDRA SEYMOUR -
'Night Fights'
cd.ref. k-100032
An exclusive release. This CD is the audio document of her
exhibition at METRONOM, november 1999, about the world of boxing
and boxers. This is wicked sound art not to be heard by the
fainthearted.
